FL Saltwater Fishing Regs is published by Verona Solutions, LLC. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. It is short because the app collects very little.
Nothing that identifies you. The app has no accounts, no sign-in and no contact form. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number, and we do not collect your location, photos, contacts, files or any other personal data.
The app stores the regulation dataset it has downloaded, along with the version it holds and when it last checked for an update. All of this lives on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app. None of it is sent anywhere.
To keep regulations current the app periodically requests a small file from
overona.github.io, which is hosted by GitHub Pages. Like any web
request this reveals your device's IP address and general software details to
GitHub, which may log them; see the
GitHub
Privacy Statement. The request contains no identifier for you or your
device, and we receive no report about who made it.
The app works fully offline. If you never connect it to a network, it makes no requests at all and simply uses the regulations bundled with it.
The app is free and shows banner advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. To serve those ads, Google's advertising software may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier, general device information, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. That collection is Google's, not ours — we never receive it, and we cannot identify you from it.

The app is a fishing regulation reference for adult anglers. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new date above.

The regulation data is extracted from myfwc.com and reviewed before release, but it can be out of date or wrong. It is not legal advice. Always confirm with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission before fishing.
